Maintenance General

Promise Hospital of SUBURBAN: The General Maintenance position performs a variety of routine to skilled general preventative maintenance duties in the repair, alteration, and modification of buildings and facilities. The groundskeeper is responsible for the well-manicured appearance of the hospital grounds and helps to ensure a safe, clean and attractive environment for patients, staff, visitors, and medical staff at all times. He/she demonstrates responsibility in the routine maintenance and caring for hospital grounds.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in construction and a working knowledge of mechanical equipment.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English, as well as possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Physical: Walking - up to 60% Standing - up to 50% Kneeling - up to 4%

    Sitting - up to 30% Pushing - up to 30% Bending - up to 4%

    Squatting - up to 40% Pulling - up to 40% Reaching - up to 50%

    Lifting - up to 50lbs Wrist/Finger Movements - up to 90%

    Mental: Stress Level: Moderate to High

    EXPOSURE RISK: Category II - Jobs in which required tasks normally do not involve exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues but which could result in Category I exposure.

    Don't Be Fooled

    The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
