POSITION SUMMARYAs directed by the School Principal, to serve as the responsible administrator charged with coordination of all assigned aspects of an elementary school.ADMINISTRATIVE RELATIONSHIPSDirectly responsible to the School PrincipalMAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES?Provide leadership regarding student attendance, activities, technology and student services?Assists the principal in curriculum development and implementation of the instructional program?Provides leadership in the development and implementation of curricular programs through direct teacher assistance and staff development activities?Provides leadership for staff by supporting the instructional process?Assists with community relations activities?Provides leadership for the implementation of the core frameworks and model curriculum standards for assigned areas by coordinating targeted academic interventions?Assists in managing the site budget and physical plant?Serves as a school leadership team member?Shared responsibility for discipline and campus control?Performs other duties as assigned by the school principalKNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIESKnowledge of effective student attendance programs and activitiesKnowledge of high school restructuring Knowledge of current curricular and instructional innovationsKnowledge of physical site managementKnowledge of activities /athleticsKnowledge of the growth, development and learning styles of high school age studentsKnowledge of student discipline techniquesKnowledge of grant sources and successful grant writing techniquesKnowledge of technology including computers, audio visual, hardware, software, etc.Ability to relate well with the students, staff, and parents of a multi-cultural schoolREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS?Must possess a valid California teaching credential ?Must have five years of successful teaching experience ?Appropriate certification to teach English Learners (CTEL/CLAD/BCLAD/SB1969/395, BCC or LDS certificate)HIGHLY DESIRABLE?Successful teaching experience in Kindergarten through 8th grades ?Ability to speak read and write Spanish ?Administrative credential in process SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFITSSalary is dependent upon teaching experience and education. Full credit is given for approved years of prior teaching experience. Salaries range from a minimum of $44,636 to $87,179 per year, plus 10 days per diem and an annual stipend of $4,000. An additional $1,000 for an earned Ed.D. or Ph.D. Outstanding medical, dental, and life insurance benefits are available.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
