We are seeking a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist Instructor to join our team.
As a Massage Therapist Instructor, you will provide exceptional instruction to students that cover massage, body work/therapy, therapeutic massage or other therarpy which involves manipulation of the muscle and connective tissues of the body to students using a variety of teaching methods such as lectures, demonstrations, audiovisual and tehcnological aids to supplement instruction.

Duties:
- Organizes program of practical and technical instruction, including demonstrations of skills required in massage professions, and lectures on theroy, techniques, and terminology; prepares outline of instructional programs and studies and assesmbles materials to be presented; reviews with Dean of Education as needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records.
- Instructs students in subject areas, i.
e.
use, maintenance, and the safe operation of tools and equipment, codes or regulations related to massage therapy.
- Instructs students in the importance of accuracy, neatness, efficiency, resourcefulness and good work habits in obtaining employment as Massage Therapists.
- Assists students to develop and implement effective study skills, practices and techniques.
- Assigns quizzes, exams, homework; administers tests to evaluate achievement of students in didactic knowledge, and practical skills; records results, and issues academic progress reports to students and the Dean of Education Requirements:
- Valid Massage Therapist license in the state of California - Minimum of 6,000 clock hours of massage therapy - Proven experience as a Massage Therapist - Proficient in various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and tissue massage - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Attends meetings and participates in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and professional development workshops.
