Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to support company objectives - Cultivate and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms - Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs.
- Create, review, and manage purchase orders for raw materials and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards in all purchasing activities - Utilize data from ERP systems and other sources to inform purchasing decisions and optimize processes.
- Collaborate with other departments such as production, logistics, and finance to align purchasing activities with business needs.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate supplier performance and take corrective actions as needed to ensure the quality and reliability of supplies.
Qualifications:
- Must be bilingual in Spanish - Must have manufacturing experience - Must have experience working with an ERP system - Must have experience creating, sending, and maintaining purchase orders for raw materials - Must have experience maintaining a minimal inventory level for a manufacturing company Job Type:
